Tyra Banks presented Serena Williams her Women of the Year Award. Her message to young girls out there was "You can do whatever it is that you want to do. The most important belief is self- belief."
Iman presented Rihanna her Women of the Year Award. Iman said that she is even more impressed with Rihanna's dignity and courage than before. She recognizes that she is a role model for young girls through domestic violence.

Having been a fan of the youngin' that is Chris Breezy, also known as Chris Brown, for his talent and charm, I was very shocked and disappointed to hear the news of his violent actions toward one time girlfriend Rhianna. A part of me was angry, then annoyed, then forgiving but after seeing his interview with Larry King on CNN last night it is apparent that he is still a young boy. He has a lot of growing up to do !! I mean everyone makes mistakes and I do think he snapped and acted out of his conscious character, but subconsciously there are problems and issues that Chris Brown has to address. Unfortunately, when you are in the public eye, you are scrutinized for much longer than you deserve to be.
While Rhianna is covering Vogue and partying in different clubs every night, Chris Brown has to prove that he is sorry.. I think he needs to step out of the public eye and grow up a little bit more. If he thinks the mainstream is going to forgive him after that sorry excuse of an interview, than I really do feel sorry for the boy.
So instead of bashing him or "going in" on Chris, I am just going to say that I hope he really gets some counseling and deals with whatever has been embedded in him to handle his anger in domestic situations differently. Because in all honesty, I can separate the person from the artist.. and I WANT MY pearly white smiling, brown eye twinkling, smooth R and B crooning, gyrating on the dance floor CHRIS BREEZY BACK!! But I am not sure if that will happen though... oh well..
If you missed the interview here is a snippet, check it out.
